Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan Referrals
If you have a referral from your GP for treatment under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care plan) you will be required to pay for your consultation and a claim will be lodged with Medicare on your behalf.
At present the Medicare rebate for podiatry consultations is $60.35 (July 2024). Once assessed by Medicare and approved this will be deposited into your registered bank account.
