Prahran Foot Clinic along with other allied health services will remain open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Australian Minister for Health, The Hon. Greg Hunt MP, confirmed that all Allied Health clinics will be able to remain open and are encouraged to do so. Utilising Allied Health services reduces demand on General Practitioners and hospitals during what is a very difficult time.
Prahran Foot Clinic will continue to provide treatment whilst implementing additional infection prevention and control measures. All staff have undertaken the Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Training and in addition both Podiatrists are Registered Nurses making Owain and Jesse acutely aware of maintaining our gold standard infection control standards.
We encourage anyone who is experiencing lower limb problems to consider arranging to see one of our Podiatrists as opposed to placing undue pressure on General Practitioners or hospital emergency departments at this time.
We are pleased to announce that the long awaited Prahran Square Car Park is now open. This car park will make parking when attending Prahran Foot Clinic a breeze, providing 500 car spaces as well as an electric car charge station the car park is located directly across the road from the clinic.
Are your old foot orthotics looking a little worse for wear?
Don’t throw them away just yet, bring them in and let us take a look! At Prahran Foot Clinic we regularly refurbish and improve older orthotics. Refurbishing your existing foot orthotics can be a cost effective way of getting a few extra miles out of them as long as they are fundamentally in good shape. Come by and see if we are able to help.
